Dr. Paul A. Dixon holds a Ph.D. in Biological Oceanography from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography. In addition to his writing career, he works professionally in Climate Technology at Singularity Energy, a Boston-based startup focused on decarbonizing the power grid.
He is also a lifelong runner, a driftwood artist, and a middlin’ chess player, and – regrettably – believes deeply that the pun is the highest form of humor.
Paul lives with his partner and his daughter on Vashon Island, Washington, along with two poorly-behaved cats.
